About Dr. Soheil A. Payvandi

Dr. Payvandi began private practice in August of 2008, with a practice emphasis on arthroscopic and reconstructive surgery of the elbow, wrist, and hand. Professional memberships include the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics, the American Osteopathic Association, and the California Orthopaedic Association.

During private practice Dr. Payvandi has helped athletes such as Urijah Faber and Chad Mendez recover and safely return to the sport.

Dr. Payvandi has authored several publications and lectures on upper extremity related issues. He was awarded a shoulder and elbow traveling fellowship to Japan in April, 2007.

Dr. Payvandi enjoys crossfit, hiking, camping, gardening and traveling.
